Anthology of Interest

I recently became annoyed with the rather poor quality of my ancient amp and speakers. Replacing them isn't in the cards right now, short of a garage sale bargin, but I started looking around for information on home audio. Audio Video 101 has what seems to be a pretty good speaker tutorial for the audio novice (such as myself), and this page has a bunch of interesting audio projects. Audiophiles can get a little wacky sometimes, but both seem down to earth, and it's nice to recognize some of the circuits from courses I've taken.

Maybe I should build a new amp for the fun of it... but what I really want is a decent FM tuner. This old one drifts, so CBC Radio 2 becomes something else. blah.
